Fishing Flea Shipping |
Fishing Flea has secured a great contract with UPS to provide our customers the best global shipping available! In addition, we are passing on all these great shipping discounts to our customers. These discounts can be as great as 50% of UPS’s standard shipping rate. These discounts vary according to each shipment’s parameters but we guarantee that our customers will receive the maximum discount that is allowable for every shipment.
When an item is listed for sale on Fishing Flea, the seller has the option of using Fishing Flea’s UPS shipping services or they can provide their own shipping. If the seller selects to use our shipping service, they may have the item picked up at there shipping address or they may drop the package off at a UPS drop location or give the package to any UPS driver. (The seller should always remember that having the shipment picked up by UPS will increase their customer’s shipping charges.) When UPS picks up the package, the UPS driver will have the package’s label and if shipment is an international shipment, any forms needed for customs. When the package is to be dropped off at an UPS drop location or given to an UPS driver, the seller will be emailed a link after listing the item for sale. This link will provide access to the shipping label and any international forms needed. From this link, the shipping labels and forms are to be printed using the seller’s browser. The shipping label is to be applied to the package using a clear shipping tape. Any international forms are to be signed, placed in a clear plastic bag and then taped to exterior of the package next to the label.
Links are provided on this page for sample shipping labels and international forms. It is the seller’s responsibility to test they ability to downloaded and print these labels and forms before they list an item for sale on Fishing Flea. Each seller is also required to read and understand the UPS tutorials on "How to Prepare for Shipping" and "Maximum Sizes for Shipments". |
